Interconnection platform DCspine opens PoP at Serverius

Serverius, one of the leading IT infrastructure suppliers in the Netherlands, today announced the opening by datacenter and cloud interconnection platform DCspine PoP in Serverius’ datacenter SDC1. DCspine is a fully automated, scalable, high capacity datacenter interconnection platform based on the latest software defined network developments. It offers ‘real time’ connectivity to more than 30 datacenters in the Netherlands, including all the main hubs in the Amsterdam area, such as Equinix, Interxion and NIKHEF.
‘Real time’ connectivity via online portal
DCspine offers cloud service providers and other users in the cloud ecosystem the services they need, when they need them. DCspine is a virtual “Meet Me Room” for all connected datacenters. DCspine makes cross-connection between datacenters as easy as if they were located in a single datacenter. DCspine offers online products that can be ordered via the DCspine portal. The products will be provided 24/7 via the portal, and it is possible to start, change or terminate services at any time. DCspine has an extensive presence at all main datacenters in the Amsterdam area, as well as important national datacenters, such as NLDC, Dataplace and Alticom.
Flexible contract terms enabling new business opportunities.
In addition to providing high-capacity connectivity of up to 100G per connection, DCspine creates new business opportunities for Serverius clients, such as directly available back-up lines, short-term connectivity for migrations and direct interconnects to other service providers.
